Another chiffon cake - Strawberry Marble Chiffon

The smell of a freshly bake cake is so refreshing and inviting.  It is so aromatic and lovely.  I can imagine the smell of this cake if it uses fresh strawberry puree!  As I did not have much time to prepare a cake, I decided to use this recipe from the blog 'Sinar Kehidupanku'.  The result was not a disappointment!  Will definitely use this recipe again.  Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Strawberry Marble Chiffon Cake (Sinar Kehidupanku)
(A)
6 egg yolk
2/3 cup cooking oil
2/3 cup fresh milk
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup caster sugar
1 1/2 cups plain flour - sieved
2 tsp baking powder - sieved

Method:- Beat egg yolk, salt and sugar until well blended.  Add oil and milk and continue beating.  Add flour and baking powder.  Mix well and leave aside.

(B)
6 egg white
1/2 cup caster sugar
1 tsp cream of tartar.
(C)
1 1/2 tblsp strawberry emulco

Method:-  Beat egg white till foamy.  Add sugar and continue beating until soft peaks are formed.  Add cream of tartar and beat till whites are firm and shiny.  Mix B into A, a little at a time, using the fold-in method.  Divide batter into 2.  One leave plain, and the other add strawberry emulco.  Pour into ungreased chiffon baking tin.  Bake at 175C for about 45-50 minutes.
